EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Seamer, North Yorkshire
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP / January 2026

GSL Education are looking for a nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to support early learners in a specialist SEND environment in Seamer. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys play-based learning and developmental support.

Responsibilities

• Support 3–5-year-olds with early learning goals

• Assist with phonics, early numeracy and communication work

• Use sensory strategies and visuals to aid understanding

• Promote social interaction and positive behaviour

• Work closely with the EYFS lead and SEN team

Requirements

• Experience in an EYFS or nursery setting

• Understanding of early SEND needs

• Patient, caring and child-focused

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
