Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about sports and inspiring students to lead active, healthy lives? A fantastic opportunity awaits you in Bournemouth as GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join a local school as a Physical Education Teaching Assistant immediately.
About the Role:
As a PE Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with PE teachers to support students in physical education lessons and extracurricular activities. This role offers a chance to encourage fitness, teamwork, and confidence in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons.
- Support students during practical activities and sports events.
- Help set up and maintain sports equipment and facilities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra guidance.
- Promote a safe, positive, and motivating environment for physical activity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or sports setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and supportive approach to working with students.
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Education, Childcare, or Sports Coaching is advantageous but not essential.
To work with GSL Education as a PE Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
