Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Redbridge
PayScale: £500 – £550 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a warm and inclusive school environment. As a Grad SEN TA, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve success both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist with communication, emotional regulation, academic tasks, and daily skills.
- Implement personalised strategies under guidance from SENCOs and teachers.
- Build positive, trusting relationships to promote student well-being.
- Support classroom routines and help create an inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recent degree (Education, Psychology, Social Sciences or similar desirable).
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive mindset.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
- A genuine desire to grow and develop as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
