Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate Start/Jan 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for an experienced Science Teacher to join a vibrant school across the S2 and S3 postcodes. This role is ideal for someone who can inspire curiosity, encourage investigation, and help students understand the world around them.
In this role, you will deliver well-structured lessons, support practical activities, and guide pupils in developing strong analytical skills. You will work alongside the department to ensure learning is accessible, engaging, and aligned with curriculum expectations.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Teach biology, chemistry, and physics topics across Key Stages.
- Support pupils with practical experiments and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to help students progress.
- Create a purposeful classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and critical thinking.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and departmental development.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements for Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as a Science Teacher.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A responsible approach to safeguarding and school policies.
