Autism Practitioner
Location:  Epping
Pay: £85–£125 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism to thrive in education? We’re looking for a committed Autism Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive specialist setting in Epping.

The Role
As an Autism Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in helping pupils get the most out of their learning each day. You’ll support students with Autism—many of whom may have additional needs—providing tailored guidance that helps them grow in confidence, independence, and life skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
✨ Supporting pupils during lessons and structured activities
✨ Preparing resources and delivering small-group or 1:1 support
✨ Helping students regulate emotions and manage daily routines
✨ Encouraging communication, engagement, and positive behaviour
✨ Ensuring emotional, physical, and educational needs are met
✨ Working closely with teachers, therapists, and wider staff teams

Every day will bring something new, and you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and a nurturing approach.

Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is:
✔ Patient, calm, and committed to supporting young people with Autism
✔ Able to adapt to different needs and learning styles
✔ Confident working indoors, outdoors, and within a variety of routines
✔ A strong team player who enjoys sharing ideas and learning from others
✔ Looking to build experience in a rewarding SEN environment

Experience with Autism or SEND is beneficial, but the right attitude, resilience, and willingness to learn are just as important.

If you’re ready to join a dedicated team and make a genuine impact, apply today – we’d love to hear from you!

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
