Job Title: Secondary Teacher (Any Subject)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £130 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, Long-term or Day-to-day

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Secondary Teacher ready for a new challenge? Whether your background is in English, Maths, Science, DT, Art, MFL, Drama, Computer Science, PE, History, Geography or RE, your expertise is in demand.

About the Role:
You’ll deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support pupils’ progress and spark their interest in your subject. Working closely with department teams, you’ll contribute to a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and ready to achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach your specialist subject to KS3 and KS4 pupils, ensuring high standards and strong outcomes.

  • Plan, deliver and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations.

  • Create a classroom culture that is inclusive, focused and respectful.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leaders.

  • Maintain clear and consistent behaviour expectations.

  • Follow school policies on safeguarding, assessment and behaviour.

  • Contribute to wider school life, meetings and CPD where required.

Job Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

  • Strong subject knowledge and an ability to inspire engagement.

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management.

  • A current CV and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
