Job Title: Secondary Teacher (Any Subject)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £130 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, Long-term or Day-to-day
Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Secondary Teacher ready for a new challenge? Whether your background is in English, Maths, Science, DT, Art, MFL, Drama, Computer Science, PE, History, Geography or RE, your expertise is in demand.
About the Role:
You’ll deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support pupils’ progress and spark their interest in your subject. Working closely with department teams, you’ll contribute to a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and ready to achieve.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach your specialist subject to KS3 and KS4 pupils, ensuring high standards and strong outcomes.

Plan, deliver and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations.

Create a classroom culture that is inclusive, focused and respectful.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leaders.

Maintain clear and consistent behaviour expectations.

Follow school policies on safeguarding, assessment and behaviour.

Contribute to wider school life, meetings and CPD where required.
Job Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

Strong subject knowledge and an ability to inspire engagement.

Excellent classroom and behaviour management.

A current CV and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
