Full-Time Cover Supervisor | Schools in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Are you a graduate or aspiring teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment? GSL Education are currently seeking confident and adaptable Full-Time Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Portsmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to support students and staff while developing your own teaching skills.
Your responsibilities as Cover Supervisor (CS) will include:
- Supervising classes across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Delivering lesson plans provided by teaching staff.
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with their learning and encouraging participation.
Who We’re Looking For
- A strong interest in education and a desire to pursue a teaching career.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Previous experience working with young people in educational or coaching settings (desirable but not essential).
- Availability for flexible work – you can choose the days you wish to work, with up to 5 days per week available.
