Salary: £13.68 – £16.12 per hour (Depending on Experience)

As a School Health Care Support Worker, you will play a crucial part in ensuring students receive the personalised care they need to feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in health care, personal care, SEN support, or similar settings who are passionate about making a positive difference.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored medical and personal care support to pupils following health care plans.
- Assist students with mobility, medication routines, feeding, and hygiene needs.
- Monitor pupil wellbeing and report concerns to appropriate staff.
- Support teachers in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Promote independence, confidence, and participation among pupils with additional needs.
- Work collaboratively with parents, therapy teams, and school staff to ensure consistent care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in health care, support work, personal care, or working with children/young people.
- Empathetic, calm, and committed to supporting vulnerable pupils.
- Ability to follow medical guidelines and safeguarding procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
