Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: ASAP

A well-regarded secondary school in Sheffield is looking for a confident and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can deliver engaging lessons and support students across KS3 and KS4.

About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintain high standards in the classroom, and help students achieve their full potential. You will be part of a supportive department and contribute to the wider school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress

  • Adapt teaching to support students of varying abilities

  • Contribute positively to the department and wider school life

Requirements:

  • Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
