Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (Jan – Easter)
Start Date: January 2026

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced English teacher looking for a short-term opportunity? A school in Barnsley is seeking a committed English Teacher to join the team from January until Easter. You will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students across KS3 and GCSE, helping them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver lessons across KS3 and GCSE English.

  • Support student progress through effective classroom management and engagement.

  • Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback where required.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain continuity of learning.

  • Contribute to a positive and motivating classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher or equivalent experience teaching English across KS3/GCSE.

  • Confident in managing classrooms and maintaining high standards.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Available full-time from January to Easter.
