Job Title: Maths Specialist
Location: Worksop
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Part-time, 2 terms
Start Date: January

Are you a confident and experienced Maths teacher looking for a short-term opportunity? A supportive school in Worksop is seeking a Maths Specialist to deliver GCSE and A-level lessons from January. This role is perfect for someone who can inspire students, maintain a focused classroom, and contribute to their academic success.

About the Role:

As a Maths Specialist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to GCSE and A-level students.

  • Support planning, printing, and assessment marking (roughly once per term per class).

  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Work closely with the Maths department and school leadership to ensure student progress.

  • Contribute to student engagement and academic achievement across all lessons.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher or equivalent experience teaching Maths to GCSE and A-level.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Reliable, confident and adaptable.

  • Available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from January for 2 terms.

  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.

  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
