Role: Nursery Nurse
Location: Tower Hamlets, E1 1NT-Whitechapel
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Scale: £95 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
GSL Education are currently working in partnership with a well-resourced nursery in Tower Hamlets, E1 1NT-Whitechapel that requires an experienced Nursery Nurse to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to make a real difference in the lives of young children. Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Nurse:
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development, learning, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Childcare & Supervision: Providing attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, welfare, and emotional well-being throughout the day.
- Learning & Development Support: Assisting with age-appropriate activities, facilitating play-based learning, and supporting children’s physical, social, and cognitive development.
- Daily Routines & Activities: Supporting daily routines such as mealtimes, naptimes, and outdoor activities, helping to create a structured yet nurturing environment.
- Behaviour & Positive Guidance: Encouraging positive behaviour, supporting social skills, and implementing appropriate guidance strategies.
- Communication & Reporting: Building strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on children’s progress, and working closely with the nursery team to ensure continuity of care.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working in a nursery, childcare setting, or early years environment

A passion for early years education and child development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues

Patience, reliability, and a proactive attitude

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
