Salary Scale: £150 to £230 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Teacher in Secondary, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages, ensuring students are challenged, motivated, and supported in their learning. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of teaching, behaviour, and progress within your subject area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
  • Student Engagement: Inspire enthusiasm and curiosity through creative and effective teaching strategies.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Monitor progress, provide clear feedback, and support students’ academic development.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive, respectful, and well-managed learning environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with departments and wider school teams to support whole-school improvement.

To succeed as a Teacher in Secondary, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or appropriate teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within the secondary phase.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
