Location: Newham
Salary: £90 – £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long Term, Full Time (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)
GSL Education London Branch is excited to be recruiting a Nursery Nurse/Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Nurse/Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early years education and making a positive difference in young children’s lives.
As a Nursery Nurse/Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Early Years team to support children’s learning and development, provide 1:1 SEN support, and help create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment. This long-term position offers stability, progression, and the chance to grow within a successful academy trust.

Responsibilities

Support children in the Early Years classroom as a Nursery Nurse/Teaching Assistant

Assist with planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities

Provide 1:1 SEN support when needed

Help maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment

Work closely with teachers and staff to follow school policies

Encourage children’s social, emotional, and educational development

Communicate clearly with staff, children, and parents
Requirements

EYFS knowledge and experience
-
Recent experience as a Nursery Nurse or Nursery Nurse/Teaching Assistant

Ability to deliver 1:1 SEN support

Able to follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies

Confident working as part of a team

Good spoken and written English
