About the Role:
As a Supply SEN Teacher, you will help maintain continuity in the classroom and create a positive, engaging learning environment. Your role will involve teaching across various age groups and adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of students. You will be a crucial part of fostering a love of learning and ensuring each student’s progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic, inclusive lessons to mixed-age groups, ensuring that students with diverse learning needs make progress.
- Adapt teaching materials and strategies to meet the individual needs of each student, fostering an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
- Maintain strong classroom management to ensure students are focused and motivated.
- Work in partnership with colleagues to provide tailored support for students' academic and personal development.
- Provide constructive and meaningful feedback to students on their work and progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate on school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to teach across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work flexibly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to creating positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
