Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Working Hours: 08:30 am to 03:45 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

PMLD Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
As PMLD Teaching Assistant in this outstanding school in Tower Hamlets, you will:
- Provide specialized support to students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team.
- Facilitate the use of sensory and interactive activities that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Support the physical needs of students, including mobility, personal care, and feeding, with dignity and respect.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to promote a comprehensive approach to student wellbeing and education.

PMLD Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Have experience or a strong interest in working with children with PMLD.
- Must be able to Support with Nappy Changing
- Manual Handling Training Required
- Exhibit patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the complexities associated with profound learning difficulties.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Possess a commitment to professional development and learning new skills to enhance their educational practice.
- Ideally have a relevant qualification in special educational needs or related field
