Salary: £80- £100 per day

Contract Type: Long Term
Working Hours: 08:30 am to 03:45 pm (Monday to Friday)

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, your role will encompass:
- Providing one-on-one assistance to students with ASD and complex needs, tailoring your support to address their individual requirements.
- Collaborating with the school's teaching team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, allowing students to thrive.
- Using your communication expertise to engage with and support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
- Assisting students in building their self-confidence and independence, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Demonstrating empathy, understanding, and patience while working with students, creating a safe and nurturing space for their development.
- Employing adaptable teaching methods to cater to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that no one is left behind.

ASD Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an ASD Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.
