Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a warm and inclusive school in Wimborne this January. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised education and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will take a creative and adaptable approach to teaching students with a range of additional needs. Working closely with specialist staff, you will design meaningful learning experiences that encourage confidence, independence, and progress. Your role will be central to ensuring that every child receives the support and understanding they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Create a calm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and academic well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO to develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet evolving needs.
- Liaise with teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive support system.
- Use positive behaviour strategies to maintain a supportive and productive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including staff training and SEN development initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Has experience teaching or supporting students with SEN across any key stage.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of inclusive teaching and adaptive strategies.
- Communicates effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Shows patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to supporting learners with diverse needs.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
