Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

We are seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join the team from January. About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging, personalised lessons that meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning profiles. Working in close collaboration with teaching assistants, support staff, and the SENCO, you will ensure that every student receives the guidance, encouragement, and resources needed to thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student confidence and independence.
- Work closely with the SENCO to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and implement appropriate strategies.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress, adjusting teaching methods where necessary.
- Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.
- Use positive behaviour strategies to promote engagement and well-being.
- Participate in staff training and development to enhance SEN provision across the school.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching students with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and SEN strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
