A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Harlow is looking for a committed KS1 Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who loves creating engaging, inclusive lessons and building strong relationships with young learners.

About the Role

You will be teaching a well-behaved and enthusiastic KS1 class, supported by a welcoming leadership team and dedicated support staff. The school prides itself on its warm community feel, strong values, and commitment to every child’s progress and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils

  • Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment

  • Supporting children of varying abilities, including those with SEN

  • Tracking progress and providing clear feedback

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

  • Contributing to the wider school community and maintaining high expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum

  • A creative, proactive, and enthusiastic teaching approach

  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
