Salary: M1 – UPS3 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that encourage student curiosity, progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons following the national curriculum.

Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional depending on experience).

Create a stimulating, inclusive learning environment that encourages engagement and critical thinking.

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Science at secondary level.

Strong understanding of the national curriculum.

Subject specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics is desirable.

Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.

Excellent classroom management skills.

A passion for Science and inspiring young people.

An updated CV and enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
