Job Title: Primary PPA Cover Teacher
Location: Selby & Goole
Rate: £140 per day (day-to-day)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary PPA Cover Teacher to provide high-quality teaching across all year groups in several welcoming schools in Selby and Goole. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who thrive on variety and enjoy dynamic learning environments.
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons during teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time. No planning is required—just bring your strong classroom presence, flexibility, and enthusiasm to ensure continuity of learning.
Key Responsibilities of Primary PPA Cover Teacher:
- Teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 following the National Curriculum.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to support a collaborative school culture.
Requirements for Primary PPA Cover Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience across primary phases.
- Confidence in managing different classroom settings.
- Excellent behaviour management strategies.
- Up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
