Rate: £88.94 – £104.84 per day (Depending on experience)

A welcoming primary school in Goole is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide essential support in a Reception class. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist with general classroom duties, phonics activities, and supervision, helping young learners thrive in their first steps of education.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) in Goole, you will play a key role in supporting the early development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You’ll work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of an EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA)
- Assist with general classroom duties and small group learning activities.
- Support phonics sessions to help children develop early reading skills.
- Observe and report on pupils’ progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
- Work alongside teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to learning.
- Provide attentive supervision during lessons and playtime, ensuring safety and engagement.
Requirements for an EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA)
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- Experience with phonics and early development is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils and staff.
- Relevant qualifications or training in early years education (desirable but not essential).
