Rate: £88.94 – £104.84 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Goole is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with additional learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will play a key role in supporting a KS1 pupil, helping them overcome learning challenges and thrive in a positive environment. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to ensure the child receives tailored support that meets their unique needs.
What You'll Be Doing as SEN Teaching Assistant
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS1 student with SEN.
- Implement personalised strategies to support academic and emotional development.
- Use effective communication strategies, particularly for pupils with ASD.
- Collaborate with SENCO, teachers, and parents to monitor progress and adapt plans.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
What You Bring to the Table as SEN Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with children with SEN, especially ASD, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of communication strategies and behaviour management techniques.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN are a plus.
