Job Title: Design & Technology Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to support Secondary Schools across Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through hands-on projects, problem-solving activities, and real-world design challenges.

Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging D&T lessons across KS3–KS5 in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering.
• Prepare practical resources, maintain workshop safety, and demonstrate safe equipment use.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
• Assess work, track progress, and provide meaningful feedback.
• Contribute to department planning and develop inspiring schemes of work.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Design & Technology (or related subject).
• Experience teaching D&T in a Secondary School setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of workshop safety and practical teaching.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
