Are you a caring, patient, and committed Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? A well-regarded primary school in Loughton is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in KS1 on a 1:1 basis. This is a rewarding long-term role where you’ll play an important part in helping a young learner thrive both academically and emotionally.
About the Role:

Provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with additional learning needs

Assist with daily learning activities, adapting work where needed
-
Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence

Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
-
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans

Help create a nurturing, consistent, and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
-
Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)

A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships

Someone reliable, committed, and passionate about helping children succeed
