Role: English Graduate
Location: Braintree
Pay Rate: £100 – £130 per day
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you an enthusiastic English Graduate eager to take your first step into education? This secondary school is offering a fantastic opportunity for English Graduates who is passionate about supporting learners and gaining hands-on school experience.
You will work across KS3–KS4, supporting literacy interventions, assisting in English lessons, and helping pupils develop confidence in reading and writing. This role is ideal for an English Graduate who hopes to progress into teacher training or a future Cover Supervisor position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support English lessons across multiple year groups
• Deliver small-group literacy interventions
• Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and resource organisation
• Mentor pupils who require additional encouragement
• Contribute to whole-school reading activities
Ideal Candidate:
• Confident English Graduate with strong written and verbal communication
• Interest in pursuing teaching or Cover Supervisor work
• Positive, proactive, and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
