Psychology and Sociology Teacher
Location: Newham
Salary: £185 – £265 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long Term

The school is seeking a dedicated Psychology and Sociology Teacher with proven experience teaching both subjects to Year 10 and Year 12. You will play a key part in delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' academic growth, and contributing to a positive school culture. As a Psychology and Sociology Teacher, you will inspire learners and help them develop a deep understanding of human behaviour, society, and the world around them.

Responsibilities of the Psychology and Sociology Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology and Sociology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.

  • Teach both Psychology and Sociology to Year 10 and Year 12 with confidence.

  • Create a positive classroom environment that motivates and inspires students.

  • Assess student progress and provide helpful, timely feedback.

  • Work with the department to improve curriculum and teaching resources.

  • Support the wider school community with duties and activities when required.

Requirements of the Psychology and Sociology Teacher:

  • Previous experience teaching Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5.

  • Experience teaching both subjects to Year 10 and Year 12.

  • Strong knowledge of the Psychology and Sociology curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

  • A passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
