Location: Epping
Pay Rate: £110 – £230 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in an SEN setting? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Art Teacher to join a supportive and nurturing specialist school in Epping, starting immediately.
In this rewarding role, you will:
Deliver engaging and accessible Art lessons tailored to students with a range of additional needs
Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with SEND, including ASD, SEMH, SLD and non-verbal students
Foster creativity, confidence, and self-expression through practical and sensory-based art activities
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each learner receives personalised support
Contribute to EHCP targets and maintain accurate records of progression
Create a calm, positive, and structured environment that celebrates individual achievements
Requirements:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✔ Experience working with SEND learners (school or specialist setting)
✔ Strong behaviour management and an adaptable, patient teaching style
✔ Passion for creative learning and the arts
✔ Ability to start immediately
