Salary Range: £140 - £190 per day (Depending on Experience)

Role Overview:

As an ICT Teacher, you will deliver a broad and engaging ICT curriculum, support pupils in developing essential digital skills, and create an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Key Responsibilities of ICT Teacher:

  • Deliver well-structured and inspiring ICT lessons across Key Stages.
  • Plan and prepare engaging learning materials that promote digital literacy.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Use a range of technology and teaching strategies to support learning.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and curriculum development.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies are followed at all times..

Job Requirements for ICT Teacher:

  • A recognised teaching qualification, QTS is essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge in ICT and computing.
  • Experience teaching ICT across secondary settings or similar.
  • Ability to inspire and engage learners of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
