Job Title: SEN Class Teacher
Location: Doncaster, DN4 (and other surrounding regions)
Salary: £625 – £1000 per week (Depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum and in line with childrens EHCP's and personal learning plans
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being, academic and personal growth
  • Assess and track student progress, ensuring that clear updates are provided to children, staff and parents 
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation taking into account the childrens individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance student learning.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to safeguarding policies.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Proven experience teaching in a school setting, with children with SEND/SEMH.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Adaptable and versatile with the ability to differentiate learning.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and fostering their development.
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
