Salary: £150 – £210 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced KS1 Class Teacher to lead and inspire pupils in Year 1 and Year 2. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring pupil progress, and supporting all children to achieve their academic and personal potential. Your role will have a direct impact on building confidence, independence, and a love of learning among the pupils.
Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, curriculum-aligned lessons across KS1.

Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted interventions where required.

Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs through differentiated teaching strategies.

Maintain accurate assessment and record-keeping.

Promote positive behaviour management and a safe, respectful classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external professionals.

Contribute to school initiatives, assemblies, and enrichment activities.

Support pupil personal care where appropriate.
Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.

Experience teaching KS1 pupils, including those with SEN or additional needs.

Strong understanding of behaviour management, differentiation, and assessment strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
