Salary: £150 – £210 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher for KS2 to lead teaching across one or more year groups. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring pupil progress, and supporting children with additional learning needs. This role will directly contribute to pupil achievement, confidence, and classroom engagement, shaping positive learning experiences for every child.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across KS2, adapting for different abilities.

  • Plan and implement differentiated activities for pupils with SEN or additional needs.

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted interventions.

  • Promote positive behaviour and classroom management strategies.

  • Maintain accurate records of pupil development and communicate updates with staff and parents.

  • Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth in all pupils.

  • Support personal care routines when necessary.

  • Contribute to school events, assemblies, and enrichment activities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, including those with SEN or additional needs.

  • Knowledge of behaviour management, differentiation, and assessment strategies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
