Salary: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
This role focuses on supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them build essential social, emotional, and developmental skills. You will play a key part in creating an encouraging, structured learning environment and supporting children who may need additional guidance to access the curriculum fully. Your support will directly contribute to their confidence, independence, and early progress.
Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to children across EYFS, including individual or small-group work.

Assist the class teacher with delivering learning activities that promote early development.

Support pupils with SEN needs, adapting activities when required to ensure full participation.

Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social interaction.

Contribute to the setup and organisation of the EYFS learning environment.

Liaise with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals when needed.

Provide personal care support where appropriate.

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
Qualifications

Experience supporting children in EYFS or a similar early childhood setting.

Understanding of child development, early learning principles, and play-based learning.

Experience working with SEN pupils is highly beneficial.

Confident in building positive relationships with young children and contributing to a team.

Ability to follow safeguarding, behaviour, and SEND support procedures.

A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
