Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)

As an SEMH Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the specific needs of pupils with SEMH challenges.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel valued and supported.
- Promote students’ emotional resilience, social skills, and self-confidence alongside academic progress.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and personalised support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for every child.
- Encourage a positive culture of respect, curiosity, and lifelong learning.
Requirements for the role of SEMH Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience teaching in a SEMH or similar special educational needs setting.
- Strong classroom management, empathy, and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting the emotional and educational development of pupils with SEMH needs.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
