Exciting Opportunity for a Geography Teacher in Greenwich!

GSL Education London Branch are looking for a Geography Teacher to work at a friendly and high-achieving co-educational secondary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and motivated Geography Teacher who enjoys inspiring young minds and making a positive impact in the classroom.

As a Geography Teacher, you will be joining a supportive Humanities Department that values creativity, collaboration, and high-quality teaching. The school is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential, and they are looking for a Geography Teacher who shares their commitment to excellence and enthusiasm for learning.

Geography Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging and inspiring Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and attainment.

  • Encourage students to develop curiosity and understanding of the world around them.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan schemes of work and share best practices.

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.

Geography Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Degree in Geography or a related subject.

  • Previous experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A passion for Geography and for inspiring students.

  • Right to work in the UK.
