Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting?
GSL Education are working with a well-regarded and welcoming primary school in Epping, who are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2), helping them to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning within a nurturing school environment.
The Role:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.

Providing 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to achieve their learning goals.

Assisting with classroom organisation, preparing learning materials, and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.

Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and academic development.

Supporting the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) where required.

Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Has experience working with children in a primary school or Early Years setting.

Is patient, kind, and proactive, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Demonstrates good communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.

Has a strong understanding of child development and learning support strategies.

Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) – desirable but not essential.
