GSL Education are delighted to be working with a well regarded primary school in Loughton who are seeking a passionate KS1 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This is a full-time, long-term role running until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. The school is proud of its strong community ethos, creative curriculum, and supportive team who work collaboratively to ensure every child thrives.
The Role:

Teaching a Key Stage 1 class, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum.

Planning and assessing pupil progress in line with the National Curriculum.

Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support each child’s learning journey.

Contributing to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, enrichment activities, and events.
The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has previous experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2).

Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Is organised, reflective, and able to plan engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence.

Works well as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

Has a genuine passion for primary education and helping children reach their potential.
