About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide targeted support for pupils across the school. You will play a key role in helping children access the curriculum, develop essential skills, and achieve learning outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils’ academic progress and personal development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.

  • Assist in delivering classroom activities and lessons, adapting resources to meet individual requirements.

  • Support behaviour management strategies and help maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to monitor progress and implement interventions.

  • Assist with personal care and well-being tasks when required.

  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, interventions, and achievements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Learning Support or SEN Assistant role within a school.

  • Knowledge of differentiation, SEN strategies, and inclusion practices.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual learning needs.

  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection within an educational setting.
