About the Role
The school is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons and support pupil development across Key Stage 2. You will play a central role in creating a positive classroom culture, encouraging engagement, and ensuring all pupils make strong progress. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to pupils’ academic and personal growth while collaborating with a dedicated teaching team.
Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2.

Assess and monitor pupil progress, using outcomes to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEN or additional support needs.

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent support and communication.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities, events, and enrichment programmes.
Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching in KS2.

Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum and assessment requirements.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to differentiate lessons effectively and support pupils with diverse learning needs.

Commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
