About the Role
The school is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons and support pupil development across Key Stage 2. You will play a central role in creating a positive classroom culture, encouraging engagement, and ensuring all pupils make strong progress. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to pupils’ academic and personal growth while collaborating with a dedicated teaching team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2.

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, using outcomes to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEN or additional support needs.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent support and communication.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities, events, and enrichment programmes.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching in KS2.

  • Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum and assessment requirements.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to differentiate lessons effectively and support pupils with diverse learning needs.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
