About the Role
The school is seeking an experienced KS1 & KS2 Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire learning and promote progress across the primary phase. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who values pupil-centred education and is confident in delivering the full National Curriculum. You’ll play a key role in shaping a positive classroom culture, fostering independence, and helping pupils develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and differentiated lessons for KS1 and KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom where pupils are encouraged to take ownership of their learning.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to maintain strong home-school partnerships.

  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring appropriate strategies and interventions are in place.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement, attendance, and behaviour in line with school policies.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant classroom experience within the UK.

  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum.

  • Proven ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting pupils and colleagues.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practice.
