About the Role
The school is seeking an experienced KS1 & KS2 Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire learning and promote progress across the primary phase. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who values pupil-centred education and is confident in delivering the full National Curriculum. You’ll play a key role in shaping a positive classroom culture, fostering independence, and helping pupils develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and differentiated lessons for KS1 and KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum.

Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom where pupils are encouraged to take ownership of their learning.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to maintain strong home-school partnerships.

Support pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring appropriate strategies and interventions are in place.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement, attendance, and behaviour in line with school policies.
Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant classroom experience within the UK.

Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum.

Proven ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting pupils and colleagues.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practice.
