Job Title: Maths Teacher

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join an SEMH alternative provision in the beautiful town of Chapel-en-le-Frith.

In this unique role, you’ll not only teach Maths acrossKS3 and KS4, but also deliver personal developmentlessons that inspire confidence, resilience, and self-belief in every learner. Maths Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons tailored to SEMH learners.
  • Inspire curiosity and understanding in both academic and personal growth.
  • Create a supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to promote positive outcomes and progress.

Maths Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working within SEMH, or alternative education settings is desirable.
  • Ability to teach Maths at KS3 and KS4 and deliver Personal Development sessions.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence with business insurance (travel between sites may be required).
  • A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
