Full-Time Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish) Teacher – Southampton, Hampshire

GSL Education are delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Southampton, starting immediately or January 2026.Permanent contract on offer after a probation period has been completed. School is happy to accept ECT’s and experienced teachers. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities of the MFL Teacher:
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in French and Spanish across key stages.
- Inspire students to develop a love for languages and an understanding of global culture.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every student feels valued.
- Assess and track student progress, tailoring lessons to individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school’s MFL curriculum.
Requirements for the MFLTeacher role:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Strong command of French and Spanish with excellent subject knowledge.
- A creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
