Full-Time Design & Technology Teacher– Southampton, Hampshire

GSL Education are on the lookout for a Design & Technology Teacher in Southampton, starting immediately or January 2026.This is a full-time role. Permanent contract on offer after a probation period has been completed. School is happy to accept ECT’s and experienced teachers.
Responsibilities of the Design and Technology Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and practical Design and Technology lessons across key KS3 and KS4.
- Encourage innovation, hands-on learning, and confidence in design thinking.
- Create a safe, stimulating workshop environment where creativity thrives.
- Adapt lessons to suit different skill levels, materials, and learning styles.
Requirements:
- QTS with proven experience teaching Design and Technology in UK schools.
- Strong technical and creative knowledge across D&T disciplines.
- Excellent classroom management skills with a passion for inspiring young makers.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
