Full-Time History Teacher – Eastleigh, Hampshire

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and inspiring History Teacher to join a dynamic and secondary school in Eastleigh, starting this January 2026. Permanent contract on offer after a probation period has been completed. School is happy to accept ECT’s and experienced teachers.
Key Responsibilities of History Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Foster curiosity and critical thinking through interactive and inclusive teaching.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports historical inquiry.
Requirements for History Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching History in UK secondary school settings.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for historical education.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
