SEN Teacher
 Location: Poole
 Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on Experience)
 Start Date: Immediate / January 2025
 Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Are you a passionate and skilled educator with a heart for supporting students with additional needs? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join schools in Poole.
As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, or social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
 - Develop and implement personalised education plans (EHCPs) and monitor progress closely.
 - Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to provide a nurturing learning environment.
 - Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to enhance understanding and engagement.
 - Encourage independence, resilience, and confidence among learners.
 - Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
 - Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.
 
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
 - Previous experience teaching or supporting children with special educational needs.
 - Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and differentiation techniques.
 - Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
 - A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to supporting diverse learners.
 - Knowledge of current safeguarding policies and procedures.
