Salary: £140 - £210 per day

Exciting Opportunity for a Maths Teacher in Newham!

GSL Education London Branch is looking for a Maths Teacher to join a friendly and supportive girls' secondary school in the heart of Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher who loves inspiring young learners and wants to make a real difference in students’ education.

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students build confidence in Maths, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve their full academic potential. You will join a committed team that values creativity, collaboration, and positive classroom engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality and engaging Maths lessons to year 7-9

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel supported.

  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with different abilities.

  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental development.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Maths.

  • Previous experience as a Maths Teacher in a UK secondary school is desirable.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to raising standards and ensuring all students achieve their potential.
