Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN11)
Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking an inspiring SEMH Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Doncaster (DN11). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of pupils who require tailored emotional, behavioural, and educational support.
As an SEMH Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEMH challenges.
- Foster a nurturing, structured, and supportive classroom environment that encourages emotional regulation and academic success.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement individual education and behaviour support plans.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote engagement, resilience, and self-confidence.
- Monitor progress, assess outcomes, and adapt teaching approaches to support continuous improvement.
Requirements for the SEMH Teacher role:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural difficulties (preferred).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and reflective approach to teaching.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
