Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Chichester
Pay Rate: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed SEND TA to join an inclusive and supportive school in Chichester. This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils develop confidence, overcome challenges, and fully engage with their learning.
As an SEND TA, you will provides support to pupils with SEND, assisting with learning, behaviour, and personal development.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils in developing social, emotional, and academic skills in a structured environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence in learning.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform future support.
Requirements for SEND TA:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and under teacher guidance.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
