Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Bognor
Pay Rate: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed SEND TA to join an inclusive and supportive school in Bognor. This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils develop confidence, overcome challenges, and fully engage with their learning.
As an SEND TA, you will work one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils with SEND engage in the classroom and achieve progress.
As a SEND TA, you will:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils in developing social, emotional, and academic skills in a structured environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence in learning.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform future support.
Requirements for SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and under teacher guidance.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
